This Privacy Policy explains how Amon Studio (“Amon Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our applications and services. By using our apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Information you provide when you create an account or use an app, such as a username, an email address, or profile details like your age, your gender, your height, weight, diet, and health information, and who you want to meet.
- User content. Photos, videos, messages, voice notes, comments, reactions, and other content you choose to post or upload within our apps, and information we derive from it.
- Purchase information. When you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We receive confirmation of the purchase but never receive or store your payment card details.
- Usage and device information. Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, your location when you allow access to it, and how you interact with our apps, collected to operate and improve our services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our apps and features;
- Deliver your user content to the recipients you have chosen within the app;
- Process in-app purchases and manage your account;
- Detect, prevent, and address objectionable content, abuse, fraud, and security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We Do Not Train AI on Your Content
We do not use your user content to train artificial intelligence models. Your content is used solely to deliver it to the recipients you have chosen within the app and, where a feature generates text or images in response to what you write or upload, to produce that result through third-party AI providers, as described in our Terms of Use.
Face Data
Some of our apps ask for a photo of your face to show you a new look on it or to describe your features. We handle this photo, and what we create from it, as follows:
- What we collect. The photo of your face that you take or choose in the app, and what we create from it: edited images of you, and text descriptions of your features, such as your face shape or color season. We do not create facial recognition templates, and we do not use face data to identify you.
- How we use it. Only to create the results you ask for in the app. We do not use face data for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
- Who we share it with. To create your results, we send your photo to Google, through the Gemini API and Vertex AI. Google processes it on our behalf under its data processing terms and does not use it to train its models. We do not share face data with any other third party, including advertising and analytics providers.
- Where we store it. On Google Cloud servers in the United States.
- How long we keep it. Until you replace it, delete it, or delete your account. A new photo or a new analysis replaces the previous one, you can delete the images created from it in the app, and deleting your account from the app's Settings deletes all your face data.
How We Share Information
We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With other users, where you choose to post user content intended to be visible to them;
- With service providers who help us operate our apps (such as hosting, analytics, and AI providers), under obligations of confidentiality;
- With advertising partners, as described in Advertising below;
- With the app store (Apple or Google), which processes all in-app purchases under its own terms and privacy policy;
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Amon Studio.
Advertising
Some of our apps show ads served by advertising partners such as AppLovin. To show and measure these ads, our partners may receive your device’s advertising identifier where your device settings allow it, information about how you interact with ads, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. They may use this information to show you ads based on your interests, under their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalized ads, including any sale or sharing of your information for that purpose, at any time from the app’s Settings.
Content Moderation and Safety
To keep our services safe, we use automated and manual systems to detect and filter objectionable content, including in private messages, provide in-app reporting and blocking tools, and review reports. We may access, review, and remove content in connection with these safety measures, as described in our Terms of Use.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide our services. We may retain certain information for longer where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children below the age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction, or below 18 for apps reserved for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action. Minors may only make in-app purchases with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below. You may also delete your account at any time from within the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes through our apps or other reasonable means. Your continued use of our apps after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
